No Lashings for Rape Victim

The Saudi Arabian woman who was sentenced to 200 lashes for being alone with a man when they were both abducted and raped has been pardoned by King Abdullah. This would normally be a time to praise the victory of level heads in Saudi Arabia except for the fact that the pardon is not a denunciation of the original sentence's claim of guilt, and Saudi Arabia is the country that sentenced her in the first place.
