Taxi Driver Resurrected

Nkosinathi Ntsente, a former taxi driver in Transkei, South Africa, says he was shot and killed eight years ago, but has now returned from the grave with the aid of witches. The 39-year-old claims that rival taxi drivers stopped him in 2001 and shot him in the forehead, right knee, stomach, and spine. Only, it wasn't really him they shot, as he became separated from that body and watched the whole thing happen. He went on to observe his own funeral, before being taken into some woods by four witches, where he met up with other people who'd been abducted. While living in the forest, he and his companions survived on sorghum, wild berries, and human blood. But when the witches determined he was too strong to do their evil bidding, they let him go. The factual details of this story are fuzzy. Ntsente's family allegedly confirm that they did, indeed, bury him eight years ago, but this seems unlikely considering he clearly isn't dead.
