According to a new study soon to be published in the journal Meteoritics and Planetary Science (this month's centerfold: a chunk of icy rock), the evidence for the building blocks of life on Earth having arrived from space is mounting. Scientists have discovered levels of amino acids in two meteorites that are ten times higher than those found in other, similar meteorites. And as you know, amino acids make proteins, which eventually lead to us. And wombats.
