Ahmadinejad Nearly X-Terminated

During his trip to Rome for the UN food summit earlier this month (which, by the way, was attended by the monstrous dictator of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe under the protection of "Vatican soil"), Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was nearly assassinated via x-rays. Or not. According to Iran's ambassador to Italy, Abolfazl Zohrehvand, the radiation emitted by the security x-ray machine at Ahmadinejad's hotel was at 800, though he doesn't explain 800 of what. He goes on to say that the level increased to 1,000 whatevers when Ahmadinejad entered the building. Radiation is typically measured in millirems. 1,000 millirems equals 1 rem, and it takes 25 rems of exposure before the human body feels any effects at all. You can even withstand 100 rems with nothing more than slight blood changes. Seems like a pretty ineffective assassination technique, but who am I to question the scientific knowledge of the Ahmadinejad administration? I mean, I believe the Holocaust happened. More details here.
