The night of September 1st, several witnesses reported seeing a giant "fireball" falling into the ocean off the Jersey Shore new Ocean County. According to the New York Post's story, the Coast Guard was dispatched, but they found nothing. The FAA says that no airplanes were reported missing in the area. So what the hell was it? Who knows? Maybe it had something to do with the Aurigid meteor shower that night, but I'm not taking any chances. To the bunker!
