Woman Found Alive, Reason Still Missing

For nearly two weeks, 76-year-old Doris Anderson survived in the Oregon forest. Thankfully, she was found alive and in good health. But some quotes from OregonLive.com's article on the story demonstrate a couple of disturbing tendencies of the religious. Mrs. Anderson's daughter says that her family is grateful for all of the prayers they've received, and they believe that Doris' rescue is a miracle from God. Why is it that the religious only blame God for the good things that happen in life? If Mrs. Anderson had been found dead, would her daughter have told those who prayed, "thanks for nothing"? Mrs. Anderson's husband is quoted as saying that he didn't think he'd see his wife again "until the rapture". Does this mean he thinks the rapture is going to happen in his lifetime? Does he know something we don't?
