Theological Debate

I live in Louisiana, where a gubernatorial race is currently in full swing. The Republican candidate, Bobby Jindal, recently released a TV ad proclaiming his belief that the Bible is the "inspired word of God". In response, I wrote a letter to the editor of The News-Star, our local paper, in which I criticized Jindal's reasoning in this ad. That's of little interest to most of you who don't live in Louisiana, but I thought you might like to read the interesting theological debate that has resulted in the comments section for my letter on the paper's website.
